TOO MANY. Chester wasn't 100%, so we went for a slow, short one, but STILL the sisters, Otto and Ernie managed to really screw up badly: took off on a hunting expedition in the scrub to the east of the beach. Spent the morning in the bodega. Chester peeled off at the tortuga sign, came home alone. Not a good run.

Bette was BAD near the start: led everyone into the spiny, ouchy woods on a hunting spree of some kind. Nobody was hurt, and I suppose no marmots were harmed as there was no blood. Bette spent the rest of the run on the leash. At least nobody chased flamingos, as there were plenty.
