To the beach at Au Soleil Couchant via the swimming hole: ~7k. Small, fast group chosen to help me work with Molly on the leash. She was on the hook the entire way and for once did not do her boat-anchor routine. We went out across the alternate land bridge and came back on the coco trail; curiously there were no salt workers anywhere, though it seemed like a perfect day for it. There were hardly any bugs in spite of us having had some rain recently... they must be gathering their forces.

Roni took this crew out into the heat and around the cow pasture the long way. Monkey had to go on the leash for something I will not name but in general everyone behaved themselves, if only due to the crushing heat.
