Hidden trail the normal way: ~8k. The last few days have been stressful and strange for one reason or another and it just wasn't in the cards to go out. Everyone has been really good overall - Roni and I especially deserve treats. Today the clouds lifted a bit, so to speak, so I took this group out relatively early. It was hot, humid and really buggy - wow. Floyd and Ginger both insisted on lying down in shallow pools of water at a couple points and they accounted for most of the water from the bottle. We ran into those strange seashell-collecting tourists on the beach at Au Soleil Couchant and all of the dogs were absolutely perfect - listened, stayed close to me, didn't make a peep or a move.
