morning run #1:

A short one mainly to get Floyd and some pains in the ass out: to the tortuga road, then on the trails just north of it to the squishy land bridge, to the intersection and home via the land bridge, which is now drivable by two-wheeled vehicles: ~4.5k. We did it quickly, and everyone had a good time.

We did something similar to what we did on Saturday, which turns out to be ~8.5k according to google earth. I thought we would go the long and winding road at first, but when we got to that point at the northern end of the middle charcos where you can either keep going north or cut over east it seemed like perhaps that was far enough for today. We still left relatively early, even having had a run already earlier, but it's starting to get hot here early in the day, and I'd like to be able to do a couple other things besides run today. It was still plenty long and everyone had a blast... I just wanted it to be long enough to tire Ernie and Molly out, for the most part.
