Today was the first really humid day of the year. We left earlier than normal, but even though it was cloudy the humidity was too much for Shirley. We did the long and winding road backwards, but by the time we got to the road to Xixim Shirley had punched herself out, and was dragging for the ~5km run home; it doesn't help that she's a lunatic about chasing lizards, running ahead, etc. right up until the point where she runs out of gas. She got most of the water but I still had to put her on the other end of the leash with Floyd and go slowly so she would stay with us. I took us home via every navigable charco I knew of so that she could cool off in the water when possible, and that seemed to help a bit. Otherwise everyone was good and had a good time.
