Southern charcos: ~8k. The usual route. Osita once again got strangely paranoid on the palapa road right past the bag-end turn; I had to go back for her and put her on the leash to get her to come along with everyone else and I still have no idea why. She was enthusiastic before we left and running with us all the way north. I left her on the leash until we got home - it seemed to reassure her and she didn't dig her heels in or misbehave. Other than that everyone was perfect. We ran past an old man on a bike heading into the monte to work and there wasn't so much as a sniffle in his direction.

It was chilly, choppy, deep and stinky. She really didn't want to do it and the undertow was honestly a little much so instead of lots of "laps" I did fewer but pushed against her chest and made her swim in place more. What a good girl.
