Hidden trail: ~8k. The bugs were outrageous so we stopped as little as possible and kept the pace up. We went out the northern way, cut over to the "blue bag" trail and then went back south to the intersection to get to the swimming hole. When we got to the Au Soleil Couchant road everyone was so happy and up for it that I figured we might as well. Rufus was really pretty good at the gate and I let him off the leash early. There was no misbehavior of any kind and everyone had a blast in spite of the bugs.

We didn't go for as long as we have been in part because Tori was out of her mind; the bugs were also bad. Still puppy.liebschen did well and Tori was her usual crazy self in the water.
