Northern charcos: ~8k. This is the first time in a while we left with nobody on the leash and it definitely made the pace quicker to start with... even so I felt thick and slow on this run for some reason, Nobody else did, that's for sure - they all ran like blazes. We took our now-usual land-bridge-to-ridge route heading north and hit the swimming hole, did a loop out in the northern charcos and came home via the blue bag trail. I didn't have to use the leash once the whole way. Everyone had a great time and behaved themselves on a bright, hot morning.
