I took this crew for a walk between the land bridges, more or less. We did an extended loop to the east after coming down off of the ridge, before heading back to the alt. land bridge. Roni frequently takes them this way on walks and everyone always likes it... Cookie also had a lot of yayas to get out and everyone else was not far behind her. Watching Cookie and Ernie together on a walk is hilarious - she loves him and he likes to complain about it (but not do much). We left with Ernie on the leash to keep him from hurting himself in the first mad rush but he came off quickly and was good the whole way. I worked with Cookie repeatedly, putting her on and taking her off the leash and making sure she was good about coming back to me and letting me hook her up. She swam enthusiastically in the nasty charcos - I'm sure she's a water dog and that beach runs will be great fun. I ended up with Ernie back on the (short) leash and Cookie on the long one on the coco trail coming home and I left them that way to the gate. Everyone was good and had a great time on an overcast morning.
