Up the beach past Au Soleil Couchant: ~5k. We took the blue.bag trail to the tortuga sign, went north past Au Soleil Couchant and came home via the shortcut next to the charcos. Rufus was a bear about the muzzle for the first 250m, but this time I didn't screw it up and it stayed on so he had to settle down and deal; the muzzle came off shortly after the shrimpery and he came off the leash after we were heading north towards the shack. Everyone was good the whole way. This is Petey's distance and also his kind of run. He rolled in some awful filth early on but one dip in the ocean fixed that. The sea was really churned up and there were even waves, something all of The Tribe love. Mega and Pete swam every time I asked them to and didn't mind the rough seas at all. It wasn't hot and the bugs were only bad in spots. All in all a nice, short, fast-paced run with some fun in the surf to boot.
