morning run:

A relatively quick one for the usual reason; north via the dead goat trail to the Au Soleil Couchant road, back into the shire at the first turn south, through the intersection and back home via the cut-over and the dirty road: ~6k. We really ran it for the most part, although we did stop a few times for water and to let the slowpokes catch up (mainly Lucy and Maggie). Floyd was especially good. He really wanted to run right off, but I made him sit down and wait at the shrimpery intersection and he did well. I also made sure he got water last, and only when he was sitting, and there were a few dogs on this run that really want a drink, so it was especially gratifying to see how good he was about it. There are people around for semana santa now, so we went out early before they woke up. Everyone is being really good about random noise and movement all around us.
