To the beach via the tortuga sign and home: ~3k. About 100m north of the HoJo we found a beached marlin, almost 4m long... it must've weighed 400kg, maybe double that, and was untouched; its spear-like snout was completely intact, and it didn't look like the birds had picked it over at all yet. The dogs didn't seem the least bit interested in it, but I was fascinated. We swam a dozen times between the tortuga sign and home. The seaweed was piled up and disgusting in some spots and not noticeable in others. Everyone ran fast, swam hard and had a good time.

morning swim:
Greta
(1)

Seven laps in calm, shallow water. She was breathing hard after the last lap, and had a good attitude the whole time.
