Hidden trail with a little extra at the beginning. We crossed the land bridge but then immediately headed north on the main road, went through the intersection, headed east and then north through the shire, hit the hidden trail and headed down the beach to Au Soleil Couchant, and then came home in the monte via the trails north of the tortuga road: ~8k. Rufus was only on the hook for a short while at the start; I kind of needed a break from always having a big dog on the leash for long stretches, and it was nice to just run for most of the way. Everyone was good.
