One of our new crew of HelpX'ers, Jami, is a runner, so she came with us today on an ~8k run through the monte. We took the land-bridge to the last turn east, then straight into the monte and around the southernmost charcos, but then we cut back west at the 4-way crossroads and took the serpentine all the way to the crossroads just east of the intersection, through the shire to the Au Soleil Couchant road, down to the beach, the tortuga sign, back into the monte and home via the shrimpery. There were a ton of people working in the charcos, and everyone behaved themselves perfectly. We ran into Sophia and Floyd on the beach at Au Soleil Couchant, and Floyd also behaved himself very well.
