morning run:

Hidden trail to the maginot line: ~8k. We left a little late but it's overcast and a little cooler than usual. Jami came along and everyone was really good about it; there weren't any shy dogs on this crew but even so it's nice to see everyone adjusting to change. Monkey and Daisy were both stand-out runners and swimmers. We've had a few days of rain now so the charcos are starting to fill up again, which afforded many opportunities for water-based hi-jinx and horsing around. We burned through the water and I'm still a little banged up from falling two runs in a row last week, so there was really no question of going out the long and winding road. The ocean was a tad chilly and deep, which made everyone happy when we hit the beach. Everyone was good and had a good time.
