Hidden trail: ~8k. It was a noisy and high-energy exit with Rufus on the leash for the first 1.5km but they settled down quickly and were excellent on the run. Nobody so much as sniffed at a salt worker. I had Archie on the hook on the beach for a little while because he was the last one back on an expedition into the brush but it was nothing serious. I had Rufus and Ernie on either end of the leash on the trail home.
