Weird beach loop: ~8k. We took a strange route in order to avoid bumping into the dogs that have been hanging out at the tortuga sign: to Au Soleil Couchant via the monte, south to the sign, into the monte all the way to the intersection, east, then south to the secret trail back to the tar paper shack to the south and home via the land bridge. Everyone was great the whole way. June was off the leash for a couple spells. Hot, buggy.
