Today I took Monkey in to Dra. Sandra's for surgery to remove her bladder stones and Reggie in for an ultrasound with Dr. Avalos, one of the vets Sandra collaborates with; he came as part of the group that did our second clinic and we've worked with him before when we needed an ultrasound. It turns out Reggie's odd growth in his lower abdomen is some kind of benign tumor made mostly of fat. We're going to keep an eye on it but it's good to have some more information. It was a stressful day for everyone on the road and at home but it went well.
