Terreno Federal serpentine: ~5k. I didn't want to go very far for multiple reasons but I didn't feel like fighting my way down to the beach again so we headed south into the monte like we were going to the southern charcos and then curled north on the Terreno Federal serpentine. We ran it all the way to the (now much less) hidden trail that lets out onto the larger north/south serpentine that leads to the cross-roads east of the intersection. This gave ample opportunity for everyone to run like maniacs and sniff stuff without too much off-roading. We came home via the road and southern part of the ridge, well away from Angel's corner. Daisy left on the leash this time, as did June; I let Daisy off at the shrimpery and left June on for the duration. Everyone was great and had a good time.

Xmul is coming to stay with us over Christmas. I took Twiggy out on a leash to meet Xmul and Marie on the beach (Xmul, of course, was on a leash), then took them both up to the maginot line and came home via the monte. This works out easier when it comes to wrangling the other dogs. There were no fireworks and Xmuls re-insertion into the.matrix went smoothly. Yay Xmul!
