Southern charcos to the road to no-man's land, the palapa road, the Au Soleil Couchant road and home via the trails behind the tortuga crossroads and the dirty road: ~9k. I had Gracie on the leash out there where I usually do and Molly on the leash at various points just to make sure she stays in line. We ran into a large group of soldiers running west towards doce at the shrimpery intersection just as we were heading out and everyone, dogs and soldiers alike were good; the soldiers actually seemed amused and pleased to see our dogs and our dogs therefore responded in kind - nice to see once in a while. Not even a bark and they all took off with me when I called for them. Other than that we saw nobody and had a good time.

rehab swim:
Twiggy
(1)
Ten-ish laps in chilly waters that were more surging than choppy, but at least the stink was mostly gone. She chased me around and had a good time.

I regret the lack of updates this year. Stress and depression have sucked
the life out of me. I'm mustering all my oomph to cover the basics.
