Long and winding road: ~10k. We haven't been out there in a while due to the heat, humidity and time constraints. Today it was overcast and we had barely touched the water by the time we got to the turn for the hidden trail so we just kept heading north. We killed all the water but not until we were well on the way home. I avoided the beach entirely this time and took us home via the shire so we could hit the swimming hole, mainly for Ernie's sake. I had to call Stella's name several times to get her to pay attention just past the circular intersection so I put her on the hook there and she was fine for the rest of the way. Everyone was stellar and had a good time.
