To the beach at Au Soleil Couchant via the shire and the swimming hole: ~7k. I was going to take Alice but she didn't seem to feel like it - we need to test her. Lucy was a champ and showed the young ones how it's done. We didn't see a single living creature save bugs, crabs, birds and fish, all of which were out in force. The rain yesterday topped off a lot of puddles everywhere. Everyone was really good.
