To the beach at Au Soleil Couchant: ~7k. In light of his most recent outing Ernie left on the leash and was only off of it from the swimming hole to the tortuga sign, where there's almost no chance of seeing flamingos. He was a good boy throughout but I really didn't give him any other options. Frankie ran off to investigate some salt workers as we were heading home on the tortuga road and was a lot later getting back to me than her companions, who just sniffed around and ran back. I was irritated enough with her that I put her on the other end of the leash from there until we got home. I let Ernie off when we had already crossed doce and were only 50m from home and put Twigs on instead so she wasn't tempted to check out the construction site. There were a lot of flamingos in the near charcos and out to the east past the intersection; none were harassed by us. Alice and George lagged a little at times but Maggie (sporting her crazy new hair-do) was really up for it and didn't lag at all.
