Southern charcos: ~8k. For once nobody left on the leash - I almost didn't know what to do with myself. I hooked Roxy up at the shrimpery; she stayed on for the duration and was really good. We ran into a group of salt workers with a dog just south of the tar paper shack heading out; Frijolita really wanted to bark a bit more but she came back to me when I yelled once and we carried on. It was hot out but the bugs are mercifully still not bad. Everyone enjoyed the swimming hole immensely and had a good time the whole way.
