Northern charcos: ~9k. We took the scenic route I've been taking recently but it probably wasn't necessary - we only saw a single salt worker way out north. Still it was nice to take the back trails and it is a hit with the dogs as there are lots of marmot tracks and things to smell. Nobody was on the leash at all until the very end when I hooked Mega up on the coco trail just to keep him honest; it probably wasn't necessary. It was already pretty humid and everyone drank a lot of water on the way but nobody lagged; we ran into two people on motos and everyone was good - no barking, chasing, etc.
