morning run:

Short northern beach loop: ~6k; same route as on 14.05.13, taking the back trails just for fun. Stella was on the leash the whole way as usual; she started to dig her heels in a little at the very end but otherwise she was good. Nobody else was on the leash until the very end when I put Tori on at the shrimpery to keep her from running into the road. She's a good girl and listens and needs some discipline early to form good habits; she is truly a water dog and a strong swimmer. Maggie didn't lag at all and did a fair amount of swimming herself. The humidity had everyone drinking lots of water from the bottle but no matter, they all had a great time.

Roni took this crew north the same way I went earlier but it was significantly hotter. Otto was on the hook briefly at the very beginning but came off on the other side of doce and was an angel throughout. Lucy is a little too interested in marmot poo but then who isn't? Everyone had a good time and behaved themselves.
